Blood Orange

The blood orange is a variety of orange (Citrus sinensis) with crimson, blood -colored flesh. The fruit is smaller than an average orange; its skin is usually pitted, but can be smooth. The bulb, an unusual Galanthus plicatus EA Bowles snowdrop, was bred from a plant discovered in Myddelton House Gardens in Enfield, Middlesex in 2002 …

The unbeaten price comes at a time when other estates around the country are increasing their security to prevent their snowdrops being stolen.

These little String Gardens are just amazing! They only ship within the E.U. for now, though there is a note on the site saying they’re looking into setting up a temporary shop in the Berkshires.
